An on-set interview is quietly absurd.

Throughout a year's work, a group of ten actors and a film director will work together on the creation of the characters and on the structure of the plot of a new film to come. Long sessions of discussion, rehearsals and endless repetitions serve to develop the most important scenes of that plot until it takes its ultimate form, in the film which results from this work.

Daniel Bellmore, is a somewhat comfortable actor who is still struggling to make his mark in the industry and make his life mean something. He is a husband and father and brother to an optimistic if unrealistic brother. We follow him, mocumentary style, in his day to day life to catch a glimpse into the life of a working actor.

Ken D’Cruz was born in India and lives in Winnipeg. His main career goal in Canada was to be an actor but, his some-time agent advised him that there would be few parts for an actor with his skin colour. To make ends meet Ken took a temporary job as a baby photographer. The “temporary” job has been going on for twelve years. The film chronicles Ken’s picaresque daily adventures as a baby photographer while he continues to dream about being an actor.
